
When you think of Peruvian music, you might envision flutes and alpaca — right? But venture into the La Victoria district in the capital city and you will hear the authentic sound of Lima: afro-Peruvian beats. Percussionist, singer and composer, Pepe Villalobos, invites us into his home for some Pisco, dancing and a glimpse at the most talented living musicians connected to this music.
